3 individuals seriously injured in Grand Rapids vehicular crash

Three individuals were left in serious condition after a two-vehicle accident in Grand Rapids caused by a driver who was believed to have been intoxicated, a March 22 article of Wisconsin Rapids Tribune reported.

Reports said at 7:04 p.m. on March 21, a head-on collision took place on Wood County W. Age 17, Logan Steinhilber was driving an SUV eastbound when his vehicle veered into the opposite lane and crashed into another vehicle. A man and a woman in their 50s occupying the other vehicle were airlifted due to serious injuries. A passenger of Steinhilber also suffered serious injuries and required hospitalization. Authorities arrested Steinhilber, however, he was later released after posting a signature bond of $25,000. Steinhilber, who was cited in December for underage drinking, is expected to face charges after the incident. Police are still investigating the accident.
