Kindergarten teacher facing OWI charge in Milwaukee

A drunk driving charge was filed against a Milwaukee teacher after she was arrested recently by Town of Brookfield authorities. Reports said Gilbert Stuart Elementary School teacher Danielle Cox, 29, was arrested on December 6, after police pulled her over and she refused to submit to a breathalyzer test.

Cox, who teaches 4-year-old students, reportedly had three intoxicated driving convictions prior to the arrest. The incident that led to her first OWI arrest left three people hurt after she got involved in an accident while under the influence of marijuana and alcohol. This most recent OWI charge filed against Cox is considered a felony. The school district is conducting an investigation and therefore refused to comment on the matter publicly.
