Milwaukee pedestrian in coma after hit-and-run mishap

A male pedestrian ended up in a comatose condition after he was recently hit by a vehicle in west Milwaukee.

According to reports from West Milwaukee Police, at about 9:45 p.m. on August 12, a pedestrian identified as John Dobs Jr. was hit by an SUV while walking on Miller Park Way. Dobs was reportedly walking to Target when the accident occurred. The vehicle responsible for the accident left the scene. Dobs, a father of four, suffered broken ribs and a broken neck and was in a comatose state according to his wife, Maria Medina. Based on information gathered from surveillance cameras, authorities are looking for a possible white GMC Envoy. Police are also seeking help from the public in pursuing the driver of the SUV involved in the crash.
