Intoxicated female driver busted in Milwaukee police chase

Milwaukee authorities recently apprehended a female driver for speeding down the wrong lane after she was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, ABC 12 reported on April 13.

According to reports, an on-duty Bayside police officer noticed a vehicle traveling the wrong way down Interstate 43. The officer followed the speeding vehicle until it ended up crashing into a ditch on the south portion of Brown Deer Road. Authorities later arrested 41-year-old Nyree Holt, who later admitted that she had been drinking liquor. Holt was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and negligent driving. A sentence of 10 years could be given if she is found guilty of the charges.

Though no one was reportedly injured in the recent OWI arrest, the legal team of Habush Habush & Rottier ® knows that many people in Wisconsin are injured everyday in car accidents caused by intoxicated drivers.
