Racine man charged in hit-and-run accident

A Racine man recently was charged after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in Mount Pleasant, a March 15 article of stated.

Third offense drunk driving, reckless endangerment and other similar charges were filed against Robert Ritthaler, 49, on March 14 after he struck a car in the northbound lanesof Highway 32. The car he hit spun into a garage. Authorities received the report at 7:26 p.m. regarding a two-vehicle crash. Though no one was injured in the collision, both cars and the garage at Enos Avenue were severely damaged. Authorities apprehended Ritthaler later that evening, fleeing crash scene.
