Teen pedestrians seriously injured in Milwaukee crash

Two female teenagers were hospitalized with serious injuries after a vehicle hit them on a Milwaukee road, ABC 12 reported on February 18.

Information coming from Milwaukee authorities revealed that the two pedestrians, only identified as 16-year-olds, were crossing Blue Mound Road near 62nd Street when they were struck by an eastbound pickup truck. Police believe that the injuries sustained by the two victims, though serious, were not life-threatening. The driver who struck the teenagers reportedly remained at the accident scene. He was only identified as a 29-year-old man from Milwaukee. Witnesses stated that Blue Mound Road was a difficult road to cross safely, especially during rush hour.
