Drunk driver faces charges in high-speed fatal crash

A man in Wisconsin faces charges for drunk driving in a one-vehicle crash last July that killed two of his passengers, St. Paul Pioneer Press reported on May 22.

According to reports, charges of homicide and injury by intoxicated driving were filed against 26-year-old Edward Depies. The incident occurred on July 21 when Depies, reportedly drunk driving at an estimated speed of 125 mph, lost control of his vehicle in the town of Stone Lake. Depies’ passengers Donald Roberts, 25, and Molly Undem, 20, died in the crash. A court appearance was scheduled for Depies on June 30.
