Accident on Highway 83 leaves 1 dead

A Waterford man was killed after being struck by another vehicle on Tuesday, March 11, an article from WISN 12 stated.

The fatal accident occurred on Highway 83 in the town of Merton at around 6:00 a.m. when an unidentified driver who was outside of his vehicle removing a deer’s carcass from the road. The man was reportedly struck by an approaching southbound vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man whose name was withheld. The Waterford man was brought to a hospital by ambulance in Summit where he was declared dead.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department told motorists to immediately call authorities during accidents and remain inside their vehicles.
