Man who confessed in viral video to killing a man pleads guilty to DUI

The man who uploaded a video on YouTube where he confessed to fatally hitting a man months ago pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, a report stated on Wednesday, September 18.

In a hearing at Franklin County Court, Matthew Cordle, 22, pleaded guilty to the homicide charge and driving under the influence regarding the accident in which he killed Vincent Canzani on Interstate 670 on the night of June 22, 2013. He now faces sentencing of 2 to 8 ½ years of imprisonment.

In a YouTube short video clip uploaded weeks ago that went viral, Cordle described what happened on the night of June 22 that led to the fatal accident that killed Canzani. Cordle ended his confession by telling viewers not to drink and drive.
