Rollover accident injures Appleton man

A rollover accident involving a lone car caused a man from Appleton to suffer multiple injuries on Sunday, the 10th.

The accident took place along Highway 41 at the junction of Wisconsin Avenue in Grand Chute around 3:30 a.m.

According to state police, a 25-year-old man lost control of his car and hit a snow bank while exiting Highway 41. The vehicle flew off the road, causing it to hit a traffic sign and flip over several times.

Grand Chute Police, who arrived at the crash site, said the man was conscious and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police added that a possible DUI could have caused the accident.

Fortunately, no one else was injured in this accident; however, far too many innocent Americans suffer serious injuries as the result of being victims of drunk drivers annually.
