Report shows that 48% of drivers do not use turn signals

A recent study done on nearly 12,000 drivers across the nations showed that nearly half of drivers do not use turn signals while on the roadway.

Out of this group, 42 percent stated that they did not use it because they felt like they did not have enough time while driving. The other 23 percent said that the did attempt to put on their blinker because they were too lazy.

Another study was done on the subject in 2006 that yielded similar results. Although it is a law to use your blinker, many law enforcement agencies do not track the number of citations given for this infraction. Not  only is this a law, failure to use a blinker results in nearly two million car accidents a year.
