Man arrested for his 6th OWI over weekend

A man was arrested for his sixth OWI offense after he was seen driving suspiciously on Wisconsin 26.

The incident occurred on Wisconsin 26 when a deputy saw the man stopping at a “stop ahead” sign instead of the actual stop sign. When he reached the intersection, he tried to turn left where you could only turn right.

Deputies than performed a field sobriety test on the man before taking him into custody. His blood alcohol content was later found to be at .199, which is 10 times higher than the legal limit of a person that has been convicted of five drunk driving charges.
