Pedestrian access to Hoan Bridge proposed at meeting

City officials have recently proposed that pedestrian and bicycle access be added to the Hoan Bridge.

The City Development Commissioner spoke at the Long-Range Planning Committee meeting to propose that pedestrian access be added to the bridge in order to generate tourism, much like other landmark bridges including the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has denied the pedestrian and bicycle lane many times over the past decades sincethe bridge was opened.

A pedestrian lane is a great way to separate vehicle and bicyclists and pedestrians an avoid collisions. If you or a loved one has been injured in a pedestrian accident, contact the pedestrian accident lawyers of Wisconsin of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C, by calling 800-242-2874 today.
