Wisconsin man arrested for 7th drunk driving charge

A Wisconsin man was arrested for his 7th OWI charge after store owners called police on him when he entered the store extremely intoxicated and then returned to his car and drove away.

The 38-year-old man entered the store around 12:30 p.m. and was slurring his speech and smelled of alcohol, according to witnesses.

After the man stumbled out of the store, the owners then called police to warn them of a suspected drunk driver on the roadway and police caught up with him near I-94. The man’s blood alcohol level at the time of the arrest was at 0.259.
