Man arrested for 6th OWI offense

A man from Black River Falls was arrested for his 6th OWI offense in July.

Police attempted to pull over the 37-year-old man when he was driving the wrong way on Highway 54. Police officials followed the man for a mile and half before he pulled over to the shoulder of the road.

The man was then subjected to a field sobriety test, which police say, he did not pass. He was then arrested and ticketed for driving with a revoked drivers license, failing to yield, and child restraint violations. The man remains in the county jail awaiting an appearance in front of the judge.
