On Dec. 11, a semi-truck struck a car killing the woman driving it.

Around 2:30 p.m., the semi-truck was going southbound and the woman was going northbound. The semi-truck crossed over the center line and hit the car. The woman died at the scene.

The semi-driver was taken to the hospital with what police said “undetermined medical issues”

Officials are still investigating the accident.

A Waukesha man died on Saturday when the car he was riding in slammed into the back of a semi truck parked on the shoulder of I-90.

According to police reports, the man was the passenger in the car. The woman who was driving the vehicle fell asleep at the wheel and drifted out of her lane, hitting the parked semi truck. Neither she nor the 17-year-old girl who was also in the car were injured. The accident occurred at about 3:30 in the afternoon on Saturday.
