Man killed Wisconsin truck accident

A 66-year-old Illinois man was killed after a truck accident occurred on Highway 41 just south of Townline Road.

According to officials with Wisconsin State Patrol, the man was heading southbound on the highway when his vehicle veered off the side of the road and struck a highway fence. It is unknown at this time what caused the man to lose control of the vehicle.

He was the sole occupant in the car and was unresponsive when rescue crews arrived at the scene. He was later pronounced dead at St. Agnes Hospital. Police are investigating to determine if he was killed from injuries sustained in the accident or a medical condition.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
