Green Bay motorcycle accident sends one to hospital

A motorcycle crash on Highway 57 resulted in one person being transported to the hospital.

According to authorities, the accident occurred just before the town of Rockland when a motorcycle and a car collided. The driver of the car was not injured in the accident, but the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries.

The woman was arrested for driving under the influence and taken into custody. The highway was closed for five hours while crews investigated.

Officials still investigate fatal pedestrian accident

Officials are still trying to determine the identity of the victim that was killed in a pedestrian accident in Milwaukee.

The accident occurred on Green Bay Ave. as a 30-year-old man attempted to cross the street, but was struck by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man.

The driver of the car remained at the scene. Emergency crews arrived to transport the pedestrian to the hospital, but he was later pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.

One man injured in rollover accident in Mishicot

A 66-year-old Mishicot man was injured after being involved in a rollover accident on Wisconsin 310.

The accident occurred on Wisconsin 310 as the man was traveling eastbound toward Woodland Drive. As he approached the area, he was struck by a northbound car on Woodland Drive that was being driven by an 86-year-old driver.

The Mishicot man’s car then began to spin out of control before it flipped and overturned on the road. He was transported to Aurora Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belt in the accident.

Man arrested for his 6th OWI over weekend

A man was arrested for his sixth OWI offense after he was seen driving suspiciously on Wisconsin 26.

The incident occurred on Wisconsin 26 when a deputy saw the man stopping at a “stop ahead” sign instead of the actual stop sign. When he reached the intersection, he tried to turn left where you could only turn right.

Deputies than performed a field sobriety test on the man before taking him into custody. His blood alcohol content was later found to be at .199, which is 10 times higher than the legal limit of a person that has been convicted of five drunk driving charges.

Man arrested for driving the wrong way down I-43

A 45-year-old man was arrested after he was found driving the wrong way down Interstate 45 near Milwaukee.

According to officials, the man drove nearly five miles northbound down the southbound lanes of the highway and almost collided with another motorist. The other vehicle swerved left and struck a median while trying to avoid a collision.

A county deputy than saw the man and sounded his siren for him to stop. The deputy was forced to jump the median in order to get the man to stop. A translator was needed during the field sobriety test and it was later found that the man’s blood alcohol content was at 0.25, which is over the legal limit. He was charged with second-degree reckless endangering and operating while intoxicated.
