City officials have recently proposed that pedestrian and bicycle access be added to the Hoan Bridge.

The City Development Commissioner spoke at the Long-Range Planning Committee meeting to propose that pedestrian access be added to the bridge in order to generate tourism, much like other landmark bridges including the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has denied the pedestrian and bicycle lane many times over the past decades sincethe bridge was opened.

A pedestrian lane is a great way to separate vehicle and bicyclists and pedestrians an avoid collisions. If you or a loved one has been injured in a pedestrian accident, contact the pedestrian accident lawyers of Wisconsin of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C, by calling 800-242-2874 today.

Three men killed in rollover accident

Posted on Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 at 10:11 am

Three men were killed in a rollover accident that occurred last week in Mindoro.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident at this time, but witnesses have said that two of the men in the car were seen at the Mindoro tavern before the accident occurred. A police officer then tried to pull the men over for driving recklessly when the driver began to spin the tires out intentionally.

The men then sped off, instead of pulling over, and lead police on a chase. The chase reached speeds of up to 105 mph before the driver lost control and the car flipped and rolled over. All three men were ejected from the car and were killed due to injuries sustained.

Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim.
