Wisconsin participates in campaign to promote child safety in vehicles

The state of Wisconsin is participating in the national child passenger safety week in order to push parents to abide by the correct child safety restraint laws.

Wisconsin has laws that are put in place to protect children while riding in the car. For children under the age of 1 or under 20 pounds, they should ride in a rear-facing child seat and a child between the age of 1 and 3 or between 20 to 40 pounds should ride in a forward facing seat.

Under the age 8, children should be riding in a booster seat. Parents will be fined between $150 to $260 if they are caught driving without the correct safety precautions for their kids.

If you or a loved one has been injured in an auto accident, you need experienced representation on your side. Contact the Wisconsin car accident lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® by calling 800-242-2874.
