An 18-year-old girl was injured in an accident on I-35, necessitating hospital treatment. The accident was caused by a deer.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 pm on I-35, near mile marker 211. The girl was driving her 1997 Pontiac Sunfire in the left-hand lane of the road when a man driving a 1994 Honda Accord swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The Honda struck the girl’s Pontiac in the front of the car, causing both vehicles to go careening into a median strip. The girl was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The man was not injured.
