Brenda Sunby is a shareholder who works throughout north central Wisconsin with offices in Wausau, Stevens Point and Rhinelander. Ms. Sunby handles a variety of personal injury cases including, but not limited to, injuries from dog bites, as well as, motor vehicle, motorcycle, ATV, boating and bicycle accident. Ms. Sunby has tried a number of cases throughout north central Wisconsin including trials in Oneida, Vilas, Marathon, Wood, Portage, Washington, Barron and Langlade, Langlade and Waupaca counties. Ms. Sunby is an active member of the Portage County Bar Association and recently collaborated with other attorneys in presenting speeches regarding the McDonald’s Coffee Spill Verdict to local civic organizations. She had her first article published in the Spring 2008 issue of the Wisconsin Association for Justice magazine, The Verdict, entitled “Taking Default Judgments Against Subrogated Carriers,” and also a book review published in the April 2009 issue of Wisconsin Lawyer. Ms. Sunby is also the co-chair of the Wisconsin Association for Justice Women’s Caucus, and serves on WAJ’s Program Committee. She is a profile writer for the State Bar of Wisconsin Association for Women Lawyers’ monthly newsletter “In Motion,” and is the recipient of the association’s 2010 Mentoring Award.
